More with text effects
I have finally finished my project! it took me four and a half class periods. Once I was done liquifying the letters and adding the layes of the fire images, I added giant circles of red paint. It was with a soft brush, i turned it down o 16% opacity, and put the blending mode on color dodge.
I think my favorite part of this project was liquifying each letter. It was a long and anual way of doing it, but it looked really good when it was finished. Some of the parts were hard because it wasn't a video tutorial. But overall i'm really happy how it turned out.
Now i'm working on a relay for life shirt design. I sort of have an idea on what I should do, but I am limited in my knowledge how to do it. kiser taught me how to increase the gap size between letters. Here is the final product:
I saw a tutorial for a text effect and I thought it looked good. It was actually really simple. It was just a combination of layers and using the option "Create Clipping mask. It swaps the text with the backround. It ends up looking like this:
Next I worked on a plastic text effect. It was a pretty simple effect using contours, strokes and emboss layers. I think the finished project looked really good.
